The softness of Foxfire Fiber & Designs Cormo Silk & Alpaca yarn makes this hat and scarf duo a cozy winter favorite. Simple blocks of knits and purls create the basketweave design. The hat's small rolled brim makes it comfortable to wear. The scarf can be adjusted in length. Unisex and sized for both adults and children, this pattern is easy to memorize.

Yarn: Foxfire Fiber & Designs Cormo Silk & Alpaca 150 (150, 175) yards for Hat

Gauge: 6 sts = 1” 8 rows = 1” in Basket Pattern on US 3 needles

Needles: US 3, 16” circular and double pointed set or size to obtain gauge

Approx. Finished Size: 7” x 48”

Yarn: Foxfire Fiber & Designs Cormo Silk & Alpaca approx. 300 yards for Scarf measuring 7” x 48”
Note: Allow approx. 15 yards for every 2” of scarf length
